Public Health Agency of Canada has N95 respirators available on GCDonate.
Some of the groups and organizations that are eligible to apply include:
- Charitable or non-profit organizations;
- Indigenous Peoples (groups/communities/institutions);
- Other levels of government in Canada.
N95 respirators can be a helpful layer of protection during wildfires season. For people in an affected area who must spend time outdoors, a well-fitting and properly worn N95 respirator may help reduce your exposure to fine particles which are the main health risk from wildfire smoke. N95 respirators are also one type of mask that helps provide protection against the spread of respiratory infectious diseases.
