EAST Zone Opportunity - Zone Chair

Looking for a new leadership opportunity?  The role of East Zone chair will be available January 2023.

 Here are some ways past chairs have benefited from this role:

• Better understanding of CAPC and CPNP history and purpose of funding.
• Connection with other CAPC and CPNP projects and staff.
• Gained ideas from other projects for programming.
• Made friends! 😊
• Got to know PHAC reps, and Sydney, the Network Program Lead.
• Great way to stay informed about trainings and what’s happening in the CAPC/CPNP community.
• Building confidence in chairing/facilitation of meetings.
• Building skills in communication, building partnerships, virtual meetings.

What does the Zone chair do?

• Chair/lead the East Zone meetings.
• Prepare and distribute agendas and meeting minutes and post to Zone Discussion area on WebConnects: https://www.webconnects.ca
• Provide any relevant information to the Zone members, the Coordinating Committee and/or PHAC Program Consultants.
• Keep the Zone member list and contact information up to date.
• Welcome new zone members.
