Looking for a new leadership opportunity? The role of East Zone chair will be available January 2023.
Here are some ways past chairs have benefited from this role:
- Better understanding of CAPC and CPNP history and purpose of funding.
- Connection with other CAPC and CPNP projects and staff.
- Gained ideas from other projects for programming.

- Got to know PHAC reps, and Sydney, the Network Program Lead.
- Great way to stay informed about trainings and what’s happening in the CAPC/CPNP community.
- Building confidence in chairing/facilitation of meetings.
- Building skills in communication, building partnerships, virtual meetings.
What does the Zone chair do?
- Chair/lead the East Zone meetings.
- Prepare and distribute agendas and meeting minutes and post to Zone Discussion area on WebConnects: https://www.webconnects.ca
- Provide any relevant information to the Zone members, the Coordinating Committee and/or PHAC Program Consultants.
- Keep the Zone member list and contact information up to date.
- Welcome new zone members.
